These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of StaySheets, including our website, web application, and all related services (collectively, the "Service"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you" or "user") and StaySheets ("we," "us," or "our").

By registering for an account, accessing, or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them.

StaySheets is a subscription-based software service that allows property hosts — including hosts on platforms such as Airbnb, VRBO, and similar rental platforms — to create, manage, and share digital guest information sheets for their properties.

StaySheets also provides an optional upsell feature that allows hosts to offer paid extras — such as early check-in, late check-out, or welcome baskets — directly within their guest sheet. Hosts may choose to process upsell payments through their own connected Stripe account or through StaySheets as a payment intermediary, subject to the fees described below.

Each subscription activates one property listing. Pricing starts at $7.00 per month for a single listing and scales based on the number of listings, up to $89.00 per month for 25 listings. Hosts with 26 or more listings should contact us for custom pricing. Features included in the Service are described on our pricing page and may be updated from time to time.

To use StaySheets you must create an account by providing a valid email address and password. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
• Keep your login credentials confidential and not share them with others
• Notify us immediately at hello@staysheets.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain inaccurate information or that are used in violation of these Terms.

StaySheets is offered on a monthly subscription basis. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.

• Pricing: Starts at $7.00 per month for one listing. Volume pricing scales automatically — up to $89.00/month for 25 listings. Hosts with 26 or more listings should contact us for a custom plan.
• Free trial: New subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. Your payment method will be collected at signup but you will not be charged until the end of the trial period. You may cancel before the trial ends at no charge.
• Billing cycle: Your subscription renews automatically each month on the same date as your original purchase.
• Payment processing: All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full payment card information.
• Price changes: We may change our pricing with at least 30 days' advance notice by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the new pricing.
• Failed payments: If a payment fails, we will attempt to retry the charge. If the charge cannot be collected, your account may be suspended until payment is resolved.

Hosts may offer paid extras to guests through the StaySheets upsell feature. There are two payment modes available:

• Host's Own Stripe (0% StaySheets fee): Hosts connect their own Stripe account. Guest payments are transferred directly to the host's Stripe account. StaySheets charges no fee on these transactions. Standard Stripe processing fees (2.9% + $0.30) apply and are the host's responsibility.
• StaySheets Managed Payments (4.9% + $0.35 per transaction): StaySheets collects payment from guests on the host's behalf and transfers the net amount to the host's connected bank account. StaySheets deducts a fee of 4.9% plus $0.35 per transaction before disbursing funds. Standard Stripe processing fees are also applied.

Hosts are responsible for ensuring that all upsell offerings comply with applicable laws, including any applicable tax obligations. StaySheets is not responsible for disputes between hosts and guests regarding upsell transactions. All upsell payment processing is powered by Stripe.

StaySheets reserves the right to withhold or reverse payouts if we determine that a transaction is fraudulent, disputed, or otherwise in violation of these Terms or Stripe's Terms of Service.

You may cancel your StaySheets subscription at any time. To ensure you are not charged for the next billing period, your cancellation must be completed at least 1 full day (24 hours) before your next billing date.

After cancellation, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to your account and listings until that date. After the period ends, your listings will no longer be accessible to guests.

Because StaySheets is a digital service with immediate access upon subscription, we are unable to offer refunds for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Forgetting to cancel before the billing date
• Not using the service during the billing period
• Dissatisfaction with the service after a charge has been processed
• Accidental renewal

We encourage all users to set a personal reminder ahead of their billing date if they intend to cancel. Your exact billing date is always visible in your user portal.

In exceptional circumstances — such as a duplicate charge or a billing error on our part — please contact us at hello@staysheets.com and we will review your case individually.

You retain full ownership of all content you enter into StaySheets, including property descriptions, WiFi details, house rules, and any other listing information ("Your Content").

By using StaySheets, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, and transmit Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you and your guests.

You are solely responsible for Your Content and represent that:

• You have the right to share all information you enter
• Your Content does not violate any applicable laws or third-party rights
• Your Content does not contain false, misleading, or harmful information
• You will not enter sensitive personal information about guests or third parties without their consent

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be harmful, illegal, or inappropriate.

You agree to use StaySheets only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Share account credentials with others or create accounts on behalf of third parties without authorization
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• Use the Service to transmit spam, malware, or harmful content
• Reverse engineer, copy, or create derivative works based on StaySheets
• Use automated tools or bots to access or scrape the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

Violation of this section may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without notice or refund.

The StaySheets name, logo, website design, software, and all related content created by us are the exclusive intellectual property of StaySheets and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your subscription gives you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use the Service. This does not grant you any ownership rights in StaySheets or its technology.

StaySheets is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of any content

We do not guarantee that your guest sheets will be accessible at all times or that the Service will meet your specific requirements. We recommend maintaining your own backup of important property information.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, StaySheets shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.

In no event shall our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Service exceed the total amount you paid us in the 3 months immediately preceding the claim.

You may stop using the Service and cancel your account at any time as described in Section 5.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or if continued provision of the Service is no longer feasible.

Upon termination, your right to access the Service will cease immediately. We may delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. The updated Terms will also be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.

Your continued use of StaySheets after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation where possible, and otherwise through the appropriate courts of the United States.
